This website is operated by Tectroniq, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company registered to do business in Texas, doing business as Lights & Suds. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Tectroniq, LLC d/b/a Lights & Suds.

We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from it, to you — the user — conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

2. Eligibility & Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence (typically 18 years of age in the United States), or
  • You are the age of majority and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you must not transmit any malware, viruses, or disruptive code through the site.

A breach or violation of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your access to our services.

3. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and may involve:

  • transmissions over various networks, and
  • changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of our service, our brand identity, or our content without our express written permission.

4. Product Information, Pricing & Availability

We make every effort to display product colors, fragrance descriptions, and packaging as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display of any color or texture will be perfectly accurate.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and to limit the sale of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction at our sole discretion.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches. Slight variations in color, scent strength, and finish are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not considered defects. Temperature changes can occasionally cause a white precipitate to form on the wax surface; this is a natural property of soy wax and does not affect the performance of the candle.

5. Orders & Billing Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

You agree to:

  • provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information, and
  • promptly update your account information, including your email address and payment details, so transactions can be completed.

If we suspect fraud or unauthorized activity, we may cancel your order or contact you for additional verification.

All purchases on our website are one-time purchases. We do not currently offer subscription, recurring, or auto-billed products.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and U.S. territories. International shipping is not available at this time.

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other factors outside our control. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the carrier.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our return and refund policy is published separately and forms part of these Terms. Please review our Refund Policy before making a purchase.

We reserve the right to deny a refund or replacement if the returned product shows signs of use, tampering, or damage unrelated to shipping.

8. Reviews & User-Submitted Content

When you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content to our website or social media channels, you grant Tectroniq, LLC d/b/a Lights & Suds a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in connection with our business and marketing.

You represent that any content you submit is your own original work and does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to edit, decline, or remove any user-submitted content at our discretion. Discount codes offered in exchange for reviews are issued for any verified review regardless of rating; we do not require positive reviews to issue a discount.

9. Accuracy of Information

Occasionally, information on our site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors at any time without prior notice.

10. Third-Party Services

We may provide links to third-party tools or services. You acknowledge that:

  • We have no control over third-party content, and
  • We are not liable for issues arising from your use of them.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and conditions.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that:

  • the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or
  • results obtained from using our products or services will be accurate or reliable.

Our products are offered "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, unless explicitly stated.

Candle safety notice: Always burn candles within sight, on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Trim wicks to ¼ inch before each use. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Lights & Suds is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper candle use.

16. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Tectroniq, LLC, its owners, employees, affiliates, or partners be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tectroniq, LLC, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that portion will still be enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law. The unenforceable portion shall be considered severed without affecting the remainder of the Terms.

19. Termination

These Terms remain in effect unless and until terminated by either you or us. We may terminate your access at any time if we suspect a violation of these Terms.

20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our website shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brazoria County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other posted policies, represent the entire agreement between you and Tectroniq, LLC d/b/a Lights & Suds regarding your use of our site and services.

22. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
