Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Lights & Suds. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, and we take great care to get your order to you safely. Below is everything you need to know about how we ship.

Where We Ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states and all U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

International shipping is not available at this time. Due to the weight of our candles and the cost of safely shipping fragile, hand-poured products overseas, we are unable to offer international delivery.

Carriers

Orders ship via UPS or USPS. The carrier is selected at the time of fulfillment based on package size, destination, and which option provides the most reliable delivery for your address.

Order Processing Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of being placed. Because each candle is hand-poured in small batches, occasional restocks may extend processing time. If that affects your order, we will email you with an updated timeline.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. We do not process or ship on the holidays listed on our Contact page.

Transit Time

Once your order ships, typical transit times are:

  • U.S. domestic (contiguous 48 states): 2–5 business days
  • Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories: 5–10 business days

These are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed. Weather, holidays, and carrier delays may affect actual delivery times.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order's weight and destination. The exact shipping charge will be displayed before you complete your purchase — there are no hidden shipping fees added later.

Tracking

A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order ships. If you do not receive a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at support@lightsandsuds.com.

Packaging

We ship all orders in sturdy, well-insulated cardboard boxes designed to protect your candles in transit. Glass vessels are individually wrapped and cushioned to minimize the risk of damage during handling.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged for any reason, we will happily send a replacement as quickly as possible. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@lightsandsuds.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the damaged item(s)
  • A photo of the outer packaging, if visible damage occurred in transit

In most cases, we will ship a replacement right away and you will not need to return the damaged item.

Lost or Missing Shipments

If your tracking shows the package was delivered but you have not received it, or if tracking has not updated for more than 10 business days, please contact us at support@lightsandsuds.com. We will work with the carrier to open a claim and resolve the issue.

Returns

Returns must be authorized in advance. Please contact us before sending anything back, and we will provide a prepaid return label along with instructions. All approved returns should be sent to:
